It is my custom there to wake up just before dawn and quietly walk the short distance half asleep to the bridge that connects our island to the mainland. With my pastels, sketchbook, camera or nothing at all I sit in the middle of the bridge and await in perfect stillness for the sunrise. It is always a poem \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"artwork-description__description artwork-description__description--more body--m\"\u003enewly written. The scene that shifts, twinkles and unfolds before me has a magical, otherworldly quality and it fills me with wonder every time. The world constantly beginning.
