In 2004 she received my Diploma in Painting from Muthesius Kunsthochschule, Kiel. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eShe have a general interest in movement and spend a lot of time outside biking, skiing, surfing, skateboarding. Through her journeys and her interest in change her painting keeps exploring di\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eff\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eerent ways to approach and perceive openness and momentariness – the state of impermanence and continuity. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\"I love the atmosphere in skateparks. People are connected through skateboarding. No words needed for communication. Everyone respects the other no matter what social background they come from. People feel empathy through the skills of movement they share. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou hear the noise of the wheels rolling or crashing on the cement after a trick and at the same time there is a kind of excited stillness that is caused by the focus of the skaters - and spectators - all this creates a musical sound carpet. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThese impressions inspired me to the painting “We care for this Moment”. Inspired by a photograph I focused on the body language of the figures - their relaxed, but empathetic attitude.\u003cbr\u003eThe scene to me creates a feeling of bondage, of all facets of friendship.\u003cbr\u003eTo form a cohesion I wanted to remove the figures from the classic context of a skatepark scene and surround them by an “emotional Environment”. For that I chose bamboo-plant-shapes that were inspired by chinese ink drawings. It creates a moving background and emphasises playfulness.
