I look for ways to freeze time, with which I can hold on to the fleeting memories, recent and old memories alike. I enjoy working with the presence of people, often without representing them directly, with frequent references to my personal life experience. This way I can work on different sides of recollection, external, lost and faded memories and emotions like nostalgia and anxiety. I use various techniques, mostly related to printmaking, photography and drawing, all of which i use to create an ephemeral and delicate image, that recall the juxtaposition of presence and absence.
