More than beloved companions, they have become an integral part of my creative journey. As I navigated a new life as an Australian living in Mexico, they became a constant source of comfort, companionship and inspiration. They curl up beside me while I paint, play with my paintbrushes, keep me company through the often-solitary process of being an artist, and inspire me every day with their unique personalities and unconditional love.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor this special exhibition, I have transformed portraits of my cats by combining them with elements from many of my own original abstract paintings, creating vibrant digital collages that celebrate each cat’s individual character.
