Buying Art from The Curators

The Curators is a contemporary art gallery at 20 rue Meslay, Paris 3e, presenting emerging and mid-career artists with a focus on contemporary figuration. Collectors can discover works in the gallery or purchase remotely from France and abroad.

Choosing your first artwork

Start with a work you want to spend time with. Look at its colours, subject and surface, then check the medium and dimensions. Measure your available wall space and consider how you will see the work from across the room and close up.

First Discoveries brings together original paintings and watercolours for a first purchase. Explore intimate figurative paintings in Quiet Company, or coastal scenes and summer light in Summer, Remembered.

What should I include in my budget?

Alongside the artwork price, consider any framing, packing, delivery and destination charges. Before committing, ask the gallery to clarify what is included and which costs may be payable separately. Confirm whether the work is framed and request a delivery estimate for your address.

How do I enquire about an artwork?

Each artwork page identifies the artist, medium, dimensions, year and current price when available. For additional images, condition information, framing details or a private viewing, contact the gallery with the title of the work.
