I love working with charcoal and dry pastel. To touch the material and see it transform on paper into something loving, seductive, colorful and tender is a great joy. Nature, the forest, animals, they're a huge inspiration to me.

The postcards I sent you are three charcoal drawings of my dog and his blanket in the series Lockdown. He represents 'the other' to me: something so close that you can never fully understand, yet you get to witness how he navigates life, how he searches for meaning and understanding and sometimes just a warm blanket.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
