One Flower. Three Journeys.

I created this work specifically for this postcard project.

It began with a sweet pea grown in my garden in Israel. After pressing and preserving the flower, I created an original artwork from it.

For this project, I divided an image of the original artwork into three postcards. Each postcard travels its own route through the postal system before being reunited in Paris.

I was drawn to the postcard as an object that carries traces of time, place and movement. By separating a single flower into three journeys, I wanted the work itself to travel, gather its own marks along the way, and become whole again upon arrival.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
