Olga Rerbo — Correspondances #3

These three film photographs were taken in three different places connected to my personal geography. The bridge was photographed in Brisbane, where I live now. The legs of my friend belong to the evening streets of Tel Aviv, where I used to live. The laundry hanging outside a window in Rome was captured during my first trip to Italy, and unexpectedly reminded me of my childhood in Belarus, where I come from.

Together, these postcards become small traces of movement, memory and belonging. For me, a postcard is not only an image of a place, but a quiet proof that someone was there — passing through, remembering, and carrying one place into another.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
