Kristina Zulkiene is a Lithuanian artist, her work is a return — slowly, openly — to herself.
"After nearly a decade in a completely different field, I came back to art unexpectedly but with great intensity. This turning point awakened a deep need to observe the world more closely and to respond to it with ideas and with the heart. I work primarily with pen and ink, materials that demand both sensitivity and determination. Materiality, unexpected surfaces, and the irreversibility of each line reflect the themes that interest me most: transience, tenderness, memory, and change. I am inspired by the rhythms of everyday life — often unnoticed gestures, hidden emotions, organic forms, and the quiet strength of nature."
