CORRESPONDANCES
An atlas of summer 2026
More than 3,000 postcards arrived at The Curators from over 1,000 artists, travelling from every corner of the world.
From Tehran to Rio, Tokyo to Bali, Bangkok to Casablanca, they crossed oceans, borders, sorting offices, and countless hands before finding their way to our gallery. Each one carrying a fragment of someone’s world.
We were overwhelmed.
By your generosity. By your trust. By the extraordinary diversity and imagination that arrived in our mailbox, day after day. Some postcards were intimate, some playful, some strange, some tender, some raw. Together, they formed something far greater than the sum of their individual parts.
Correspondances is the result.
An exhibition conceived as an atlas: a vast constellation of places, voices, images and gestures, bringing together artists who may never have met, but who now share the same walls.
Every postcard received is part of the exhibition. No selection, no hierarchy: each work has found its place within this collective map.
What began as an open call became an unexpected portrait of a moment — a summer marked by movement, connection and the simple act of sending something of oneself across distance.
We are deeply moved, endlessly grateful, and incredibly proud to present Correspondances: an atlas of summer 2026, made of more than 3,000 encounters between artists, places and imagined worlds.
