I am especially drawn to the feelings that places and atmospheres evoke in me. I photograph what moves me and what stays with me as a memory. In cyanotype, I have found a medium that currently feels like a natural expression of this interest. I am fascinated by its deep blue, its timeless quality and the way it transforms my photographs into unique, handmade objects. For me, the process gives the images a lasting material presence beyond the speed and uniformity of mass-produced prints.
