CREANDO TU EXPERIENCIA

¿Fue útil esta experiencia?
My practice explores memory, intimacy, and embodiment through painting, photography, text, and object-based work. Working across portraiture, archival gestures, and site-responsive imagery, I am interested in how personal histories become inscribed onto bodies, domestic spaces, and landscapes.
Much of my work operates within tensions between concealment and revelation, presence and absence, tenderness and rupture. I approach image-making as both ritual and record: an attempt to preserve traces of lived experience while acknowledging the fragility and instability of memory itself. Material processes such as stitching, gilding, layering, and redaction function not only formally but symbolically, transforming surfaces into palimpsests of physical and emotional residue.
Recurring themes within my practice include remembrance, displacement, staged atmospheres, and the ethics of looking. Drawing from archival structures, devotional imagery, and autobiographical fragments, my work considers how acts of preservation can become gestures of resistance against erasure.
Whether through intimate portraiture or photographic mapping, I am interested in how images operate simultaneously as document and construction.
