This work was inspired by a magical moment when I observed the extraordinary brightness of the moon and the luminous aura surrounding it, whose warm tones reminded me of freshly picked strawberries. Only later did I discover that the full moon of that period is traditionally known as the Strawberry Moon.

The painting refers to this experience, which took place at the end of June 2026, as seen from Romania. It combines a collage featuring a print made from my own photograph of the moon with a watercolor based on a selfie taken during a recent exhibition. The composition is completed with subsequent watercolor interventions, bringing together personal memory, direct observation, and artistic interpretation into a single visual narrative.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
