I have recently begun exploring the possibilities of polaroid emulsion lifts - trying to master the technique, experimenting with image manipulation and the creative potential of different surfaces, the uncertainty of polaroid film and the fragmentation of memory. I frequently document my everyday experiences through the camera on my phone yet these images had remained in the cloud as it were. The emulsion lift technique has allowed me to revisit the photographs, the memory of those experiences and recall fragments of previous moments which captured my attention some time ago.

In today's world of constant AI onslaught, taking time to observe your everyday surroundings and print photographs for manipulation by hand, feels radical.
