La Madre

Based on Daniela Theiler's work, I noticed certain patterns and my intention is to bring them to life in volume. In the work "Madre" I like the liveliness of the brush stroke coupled with the geometry of the pattern and this echoes my own work: I seek to create sculptures which are always on the border of clumsiness. Between mastery and imperfection, this reveals a certain gap and feeling of strangeness which is important to me. My intention for this project is therefore to echo the work of Daniela Theiler through a sculpture/vase which would explode his motif and bring to life a chosen extract of her painting in volume.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
