Monica Curtin — Correspondances #2

I'm a photographer and sometimes assemblage artist. I mainly work in portraiture, and my photography comes from a connection between myself and the subject, capturing intimate moments in their daily lives. my assemblage work comes from my interest in the vernacilar, artisan crafts, religious artefacts and women's accoutrements. I have shown both together, in the Centro des Arts in Sines, Portugal in 2010, ( Commentaries on Living) and in 2023 and at the Montras Arts festival, also in Portugal, ( Bless me father for I have sinned). At the moment I'm working on a pregnant women series, and want to grow the project to include other times and aspects of women's lives.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
