My visual style can be described as lyrical abstraction, a personally developed language ranging between expressive figuration and conceptual abstraction. My work is distinguished by its treatment of landscape as a means of liberation, harnessing the imaginative power of painting to construct a desired narrative. This narrative centers exclusively on vernacular landscapes, both natural and built, and on the imagined relationship between land and its people, wherever they may be.
