Weifeng Chan — Correspondances #1

These three postcards are made using cyanotype. The images come from Tainan, my hometown and the oldest city in Taiwan, captured during the Lantern Festival, when paper lanterns fill the old alleyways. The blue-and-white tones of cyanotype transform these everyday festive scenes into images that carry a sense of time, greetings sent from afar, memories coming into light.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
