I create paintings rooted in essential line, color, and iconic form. My practice is guided by restraint — a belief that simplicity in form and line can offer clarity, calmness, and space for the viewer to experience the object without distraction. Drawing on years of expressive work and a deep connection to regional material culture, I focus on presence, balance, and the quiet power of what is necessary and nothing more.
