This work was made in an act of resistance. As an artist I prioritise the flaws of the human and hand-made over the faux-perfection of the generative. As AI strives to mine, scrape, and repurpose human artistic work and identities, I am compelled to subvert and obfuscate my image-making through physical concealment and removal of portions of the work - personally retaining the missing pieces, to create artworks that only I, as the Artist, can display in full. This is a personal form of encryption: a response to the tension between the need for artists to show and share their work and the immediate need to protect the rights - and copyrights - of themselves and their subjects.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
