Portals is a series of mixed-media collages created from painted canvas fragments assembled onto calico cotton. Inspired by the circular portholes in a holiday hut that I visited as a child—and later shared with my own children—these works explore memory, place, and the way architecture can frame our experiences.

The circular forms act as symbolic portals, inviting glimpses into layered recollections rather than literal landscapes. Fragments of painted canvas are cut, rearranged, and reassembled, mirroring the way memories are reconstructed over time.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
