My creative process is free-flowing. On workdays, I might tinker with an old canvas, start a new one, keep searching for a specific result—a detail or a certain quality of light—or simply sit and reflect, studying the work. Some of my pieces stem from research into themes I am exploring deeply; these are "thought out" from the very beginning. At the same time, other canvases emerge quite spontaneously—sometimes in a sudden burst of inspiration—and I come to understand them as the process unfolds.

In my daily life, I always keep a sketchbook and a case of drawing tools close at hand to capture a moment, a pose, an idea, a sketch, or a phrase. Inspiration can strike at the most unexpected times.

Nature and the feminine are recurring themes in my work.
