My first encounter with the artistic world occurred through the figure of my maternal grandmother, who, ever since I was a child, introduced me to the inherent beauty of communicating through artistic language.

Consequently, my work carries a deeply introspective character: employing my preferred techniques of drawing and painting with acrylic and oil, through a continuously evolving creative process where the initial idea often transforms during the work, I strive to depict a reality where personal memory, intersecting with different elements, creates a narrative inviting the viewer into an intimate dialogue with surreal undertones aimed at conveying the complexity of the inner world composed of memories, fears, imagination, and dreams.

While my painting may initially appear figurative, it is instead a continuous reflection on identity: my female figures, the primary element of my work, represent, through their often invented faces and their steadfast gaze, my desire to communicate the complexity of our lived experience, which we can only comprehend through a journey through the folds of time, composed of memories and emotions.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
