‘Postcard Collectibles’

The ‘Postcard Collectibles’ series occupies a unique place in Karen Thomas’s work. Created in an intimate format, these works reinterpret iconic figures from contemporary culture through spontaneous and expressive painting. Among them, ‘Jane Fonda Postcard Collectible’ was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London. 'Man on the moon’ was exhibited as part of ‘Art Below’ at Regent’s Park Underground, other collectibles have been featured on billboards in New Orleans and Grand Union Station, Los Angeles. Several works have also been exhibited with Art on a Postcard or Postcards from the Edge. The Postcard Collectibles encapsulate all the energy, freedom of gesture and expressive power that characterise Karen Thomas’s painting.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
