Kate Agarwal — Correspondances #2

Color is my medium. I currently paint with watercolors and acrylic inks to juxtapose vivid colors and showcase how layering pigment brings out textures and light. I’m inspired by diverse coastal landscapes of California, from bursts of colors of flowering cacti to quiet ocean life in the shallows. My watercolors aim to showcase the raw energy of color, its bold language, and the flow and music of tonal variations. Color holds great emotional power and splashes of contrasting pigment sharpen focus and communicate joy. For me, color is the purest expression of self, just as in the natural world it is an integral element of life.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
