Leanne Pitchforth — Correspondances #3

For this postcard submission, I submitted three pieces of my work. "Look how much you've grown", is a gentle reminder to myself how much I've grown as an illustrator since I've started, also as a reminder to viewers to look back upon their growth as a journey, not as an end game. The second piece, "Bastien", is a jazz-loving frog who becomes a friend of Olivia (the stylo milo duck) in my story. I chose this piece because it signified a breakthrough of myself, that I could believe in myself more as an illustrator. The final piece, "Elopement in the Redwoods", is a piece I did for my own wedding to my guests as a gift and dedicated to my husband, who has been my constant pillar of support behind my dreams. We got married in the Redwoods among the towering trees and I really hope this piece gets published in a book and remain forever.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
