My work is built through layers of paint, paper and texture. I combine a variety of techniques, including collage, stamping, printing, and mixed-media processes, often allowing the surface itself to become part of the work. Most of my pieces are abstract and develop intuitively, one layer at a time, without a predetermined plan. The process is guided by instinct, discovery, and response to what emerges on the surface. The layered nature of my work reflects my view of human existence. We are shaped by memories, experiences, emotions, and the passage of time. The past remains present within us, influencing who we are and how we move through the world. Through the accumulation of materials, marks, and textures, I explore the complexity of identity and the many visible and invisible layers that make us human.
