Drawing on a foundation in photography and visual composition,

she creates large-scale watercolor and ink paintings that emphasize gesture,

atmosphere, and intricate details. Through layered surfaces and the interplay of

watercolor, Sumi ink, dye, and acrylic, her work investigates how material behavior can

reveal the complex systems and quiet nuances embedded in everyday life.

In France, postcard-sized paintings allowed me to sustain my practice through play, curiosity, and quiet adaptation. Intimate in scale, they hold deep meaning for me, symbolizing connection—to home, to loved ones, to memories. Even in the face of uncertainty, a postcard remained possible. In my moments of doubt or exhilaration, I turned inward, translating feeling into small, self-contained worlds, each one poised to travel.
