Malaïka Umara — Correspondances #1

My artistic universe is a continuation of my spiritual journey. I started to paint after a dream that I've had of gold and black flashes. I knew that I needed to make it real, like a calling. This is where I started to explore fluid art and line art. From the beginning my creative process follow, intuitively, a ritual. I receive flashes / visions of my artwork before its creation and then I let the flow guides my movement to make it alive. I've made 3 postcards using, for some, the vibration of mantra to guide my movement and for other just the silence, still in meditation. There is also one with symbols, that can let us think about a hidden language that has its own mystery and vibration... I always invite the viewer to connect with its own senses when he/she watches my art. I create to invite people to (re)connect with their own inner world.
