Sheng Luo — Correspondances #2

These three postcards are part of my soft sculpture work, Sweet Stele.

Sweet Stele was inspired by the Taiwan's writer Lin Yi-han (b. 1991). In 2017, she published her debut and only novel; approximately two months later, she took her own life.

I selected materials such as activated carbon and bedsheets, drawn from her writings, to create a soft sculpture measuring H195 × W53 × D53 cm. Inside this sculpture, I created several paintings related to Lin Yi-han. These paintings were then printed as postcards, featuring her writings—the very inspiration for this project—on the back.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
