Solveig Lehtonen — Correspondances #1

When I travel keep a little note book which I fill with sketches which usually remain lying about in my studio. This open call inspired me to go through them, pick up a couple and turn them into graphic prints They are handprinted as intaglio photo etchings imitating pages torn from a sketch book. One is from a sketch made 2012 when I spent 2 months in Paris at Cité International des Arts. The other one is from my imagination but to me it illustrates the feeling of the streets in Belleville. I thought it a fine thing to post them back to Paris, their place of origine.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
