The prints I will be mailing as postcards is part of a body of work I have titled AT HOME because it’s the first body of work I have created since moving out of my artist studio and into a small room at home. For many months, I was struggling to find my footing without my studio workspace. I began researching ways of printing small scale in my home and taught myself drypoint intaglio printing using a pasta machine as my press. For my printing plates, I used tetra paks that are readily available at home. I love using tetra paks - they create softer lines than other materials and allow the prints to have a more painterly effect, satisfying my painter’s visual language. I focused on making images inspired by items in the house, photos from my travels, food that gave me comfort, books I was reading, and my dreams. These prints are my small offerings made AT HOME.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
