I focus on capturing subjects with precision, emphasise careful observation, natural lighting, and accurate representation of form and texture. To prevent distraction the background is often in a block colour.

The story told by the painting is very subtle and I would hope that an emotion or a memory is triggered by the colours and values that have been carefully considered.
