Vanessa is drawn to small things from the natural world — wildflowers, the wind in the leaves, the slant of light across a meadow. These things open a door to her childhood, taking her back to that time of wonder and that first sense of home. She believes we all are forever searching for the solace of home and yet it is carried within us; we simply need to be reminded of this.
