Victoria Ballas Armas is an American artist whose work explores the dialogue between material, space, and memory through drawing-based mixed media. Using layers of collage, line and minimal color, she constructs intricate visual fields that invite viewers into shifting planes of abstraction. Her practice, often characterized by a restrained palette and rhythmic compositions, transforms the flat surface into a meditative space of discovery. The process of adding, tearing, and reassembling echoes the fragility and persistence of human experience.
