Context
The Typotrees are creative holiday greetings from Canada that blend typography, design, and art. The concept transforms the country's name into a festive accessory, with garlands of letters forming a decorative pattern. In this typographic artwork, font glyphs are treated as ornaments, with the repeated "A"s in "CANADA" forming a rhythmic sequence that makes the word resemble a visual composition rather than just text. The triangular repetition of the name further shapes a metaphorical Christmas tree, symbolizing a festive spell. These cards serve as contemporary amulets, merging holiday spirit with esotericism and philosophy, celebrating both the artistry of type and the magic of the season.
