Photography has been part of my life for more than forty years. My work grows out of everyday experiences and the things I notice around me. I am interested in memory, femininity and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

I don't usually stage photographs or look for extraordinary situations. Most of my images begin with something simple—a place, an object, a gesture or a particular light. Those are the moments I choose to photograph. Although these images are digital, analogue photography remains an important part of my practice. I still work in the darkroom, developing film and making my own prints by hand.

The three photographs I have selected come from different moments in my life. Seen together, they become fragments of a larger story, almost like stills from a film.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
