Elena De Giorgi — Correspondances #2

After graduating from the State Institute of Art E. and U.Nordio in Trieste I worked at the marketing and communication agency "de Dolcetti" and later at the agency for communication and multimedia productions "Proxima", participating in graphic projects, communication and multimedia for major economic realities of the city as Region, Generali Group and Fincantieri.

In 2000, I founded the graphic design studio "Work in Progress plus".

With great passion I have been following painting and drawing courses for many years at the Scuola del Vedere in Trieste - Libera Accademia di Belle Arti. Among his teachers: Paolo Cervi Kervischer, Marino Cassetti, Raffaella Busdon, Christian Hache and Luca Vergerio.

Also fascinated by the potential of digital painting, I have devoted a lot of time to developing a particular style and participated in several exhibitions and competitions: among the last in 2013 Golden Palm at the international competition Artoulouse, also in 2013 collective exhibition Art in Mind at the Brick Lane Gallery in London.

In 2016 I'm one of the finalists admitted to the international exhibition "Societies on the move" organized by Favini at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation in Venice with the illustration Global family.

In 2021 I was selected for the Annual Italian Illustrators with the series "Spezie", featured on the 2020 Agenda of the Circolo Generali Trieste.

In 2025 from February to March I have participated together with Maria Teresa Cavallar with illustrations and a conference on food in advertising, at CIB'ARTE international exhibition of art and culture, organized by the cultural association 6idea, in Sala Veruda of Palazzo Costanzi in Trieste.

Currently present at the exhibition at the ancient Caffè San Marco in Trieste with works printed on recycled parchment paper.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
