Memories of the Lakes are painted from memory and imagination, blending remembered places with imagined ones. Built through soft layers of acrylic paint, the work evokes the shifting light, colours, and atmosphere of lakeside landscapes. It is not a portrait of a particular place, but a meditation on how memory preserves feeling while allowing details to dissolve and merge over time.
