This work is part of my ongoing exploration of lyrical expressionism. I seek to reduce forms to their essential masses, allowing colour, rhythm, and calligraphic brushwork to convey emotion. Even in a postcard-sized format, the intention is not to reproduce a landscape faithfully, but to evoke its atmosphere and the memory it leaves behind.
