In my artistic practice, I primarily work with the medium of painting, drawing, and collage. Starting from a painterly perspective, I continually explore new material, surface, and format approaches. My works often emerge as ongoing series that develop processually and are interwoven with one another in terms of both content and form.

Inspired by themes in contemporary art, fashion, and the brand industry, I engage with the visual elements of everyday consumer culture, drawing on current trends, codes, and narratives. I am particularly interested in the interplay of different aesthetics and visual languages. While I am drawn to the outward glamour of an appearance, I seek to look behind this façade, which is often an imitation. Uncertainties that exist in a private, professional, or global context. I am preoccupied with the palpable pressure within a system defined by performance, visibility, and success. I explore how societal expectations and ideals shape artistic working processes and which value systems define our present.
