Ceramicist Betsy Weisberg creates sculptural vessels that echo the changing textures and weathered surfaces of the New England coast. Based in Newburyport, her handbuilding process is fluid and responsive, letting the clay dictate its own path as she tests the limits of its form.

Weisberg’s background in apparel design and global merchandising informs her attention to proportion and silhouette. Embracing natural irregularities and leaving visible traces of her process—from raw edges to subtle fingerprints—her work blurs the line between functional form and the slow, timeless rhythm of the shoreline.
