Making art is both my passion and my profession.

As en pleinair artist, I spend much of my time observing the world around me—studying values, contrasts, shapes, light, and atmosphere. Nature is my greatest teacher, and every painting begins with careful observation.

My studio is located in the heart of the historic city of Zwolle, in the northeast of the Netherlands, in a beautiful 16th-century building. It is not only my creative workspace but also a welcoming place for artists from both the Netherlands and abroad, as I organize international plein air art retreats throughout the year.

Several years ago, when I owned an online gallery featuring exhibitions and international competitions, one of the exhibitions was titled "Send Me a Postcard."

So I am especially delighted to participate in this exhibition, which shares the same inspiring theme. It feels as though the idea has come full circle.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
