Multidisciplinary artist working in photography, video, and installation. Born in Châtellerault (86) in 1988. Originally from northern Spain and Pyrenees. Student of cinema and philosophy at Sorbonne I +III. Student at Brooklyn College (New York) in cinematography and photography. Lives and works between Paris and Pyrenees. “My passion for photography was sparked by the discreet influence of my grandfather and fueled by an early fascination with insects, birds, and the tiny creatures of the ponds that I collected to examine under a microscope and photograph. Music, too, especially minimal and industrial, has long been a faithful companion. My practice of cinema stems from an encounter with Jonas Mekas, from making documentaries/portraits and video clips for my friends' bands, to an entry into fiction where my research and characters focus on entities on the margins, the interloping, the hidden. These two practices, one solitary and the other collective, complement each other and feed off each other in a continuous flow.”
