
Born in Pitești, Romania, in 1980, Dan Isailă lives and works in Bucharest, where he has maintained a studio practice since 2018.
Graduated in Sacred Art from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology inBucharest in 2005. Alongside his studio practice, he has worked extensively in ecclesiastical mural painting, contributing to numerouschurches and religious spaces in Romania, including ArchiepiscopalCathedral of Curtea de Argeș.
He has participated in various exhibitions and residencies in Romania. Selected projects include the solo exhibition Apocrif (2023)at Galeria Relicvar in Cluj, the solo exhibition Under the Impressionat Memorialul Ipotești – Centrul Național de Studii Mihai Eminescu,the group exhibition Privirea cuprindere / Privirea străpungere (2025)at Galeria Relicvar, and RAD Art Fair with Galeria Relicva
