Was this experience helpful?
My artistic practice explores the metamorphoses of identity and the tensions that run through human existence. I question what constructs us, constrains us and transforms us. My work explores the many forms of confinement — whether intimate, social or inherited — as well as the paths, sometimes fragile, through which each of us seeks to break free.
Time, memory and recollection occupy a central place in this research. I am interested in the ways the past continues to inhabit us, not as a fixed narrative, but as a living material that shapes our becoming. Lived experiences, imagined worlds and personal stories define our relationship to the world and to ourselves.
My work oscillates between an awareness of our vulnerabilities and a celebration of our capacity to reinvent ourselves. Behind the themes of confinement, nostalgia and the difficulty of being, there is also resilience, the desire for freedom, imagination as a space of refuge and transformation, and a persistent wonder at the human experience.
