My work centers on the accumulation of small-scale gestures into vast expressions of natural forms. The drawings are an amalgamation of repetitive marks on paper that yield abstracted landscapes of mountains, seascapes and uncultivated forms in an impossible attempt to capture the enormity of the disappearing wilderness. Working predominately with paper and paper waste, the works echo the fragility of our delicate relationship with nature.

Composed solely of unsolicited junk mail filling the artist’s mailbox, “Garbàge Collage” is an extensive collection of postcard size collages that reimagines the never-ending stream of circular advertisements into small moments of expression.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
