"Summer Mist" is a watercolor from my ongoing series, Intuitive Drawings.

I call this series Intuitive Drawings: a practice in which I work with watercolors while keeping my eyes closed, simply connecting with the resonance of a specific color. I let it vibrate within me and transpose its energy onto the paper, without decorative intentions or the desire to control the outcome. The image emerges as a trace of that encounter.

This piece was created for the Postcards Call, inspired by the summer mist of midsummer in Sicily. While working, I was attuning to the subtle atmosphere of those early mornings, the suspended air, the soft veil of humidity, the quiet light. It is from Sicily, where I am now, that I am sending this postcard.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
