I delight in the simple power of a pencil and paper to capture the complex, intangible character of interior spaces. As a trained architect, I now explore buildings as psychological spaces through observation, memory and imagination. I am particularly interested in how subtle shifts in perspective can dramatically alter our interpretation of reality.

My work is inspired by the precision and beauty of traditional architectural drawings, and a desire to preserve this skill in an increasingly digitised world. I also hope to evoke a curiosity in the viewer: in our built heritage, in the layers of movement, life and emotion contained within a building, and in the ability of simple materials to create beauty through thoughtful observation and draughtsmanship.
