Sidney Glos (b. 1998) is a painter who lives and works in Paris. His paintings depict figures and landscapes through dense, richly saturated palettes, moving between deep blues, greens, and reds. Passages of paint develop through a slow accumulation of color and repeated layers, while other areas remain relatively untouched, retaining the directness of the initial drawing. A sense of surface clarity and simplicity is offset by an underlying strangeness that emerges through subtle shifts in tone, color, and spatial relationships.
